This clock is an original Black Forest clock, made in the first half of the Nineteenth Century. The colourful hand-painted clock features a Black Forest man in colourful traditional costume, he is  carrying a clock, the man opens and closes his mouth with the movement of the pendulum, with eye-movement from left to right. Clock has a white enamel dial and pendulum. One day movement. In original painting , authentic state and good condition. "Schaufensteruhr", today a collectors item. HWD 41x14x15 cm. Price on request

Schnappuhr, polychrome beschilderde man in Schwarzwalder klederdracht, c. 1840.

Deze origineel figurale klok, gemaakt in de eerste helft van de negentiende eeuw,  toont een kleurrijke man in traditioneel Schwarzwalder klederdracht. Hij draag een uurwerk, zijn ogen bewegen van links naar rechts, zijn mond gaat open en dicht met de beweging van de slinger. Witte email wijzerplaat, 1 daags uurwerk met slinger.
