Exceptional equation time table regulator, Verneuil Horloger, Mécanicien à Dijon, circa 1820.
Fascinating regulator,  the movement is mounted on a yellow Sienna marble base. In addition to the regular mechanical time, the clock also shows the true or so-called equation time. The clock with  pinwheel escapement has a calendar work for displaying the months, days and signs of the zodiac. Striking mechanism on a bell for half hour and hours. The duration of the movement is several months. Decorative Ferdinand Berthoud compensation pendulum with temperature indication,  time equation. The pendulum has a knife edge suspension. The invention of the equation time calculation dates back to 1754. The 'L'Académie des Sciences' in France then recognizes Ferdinand Berthoud's construction of a 'pendule à équation'. This regulator is a mechanical and aesthetic masterpiece that processes time variables - time, date, month, zodiac, equation - mechanically so that they become visible on this regulator. Fascinerende regulateur met het uurwerk gemonteerd op een geel Sienna marmeren voet. Naast de regulier mechanische tijd geeft de klok ook de ware of zogenaamde  equatie tijd weer. Het uurwerk met pennegang heeft een kalenderwerk voor weergave van de maanden, dagen en de tekens van de dierenriem. Het slagwerk slaat hele en halve uren op een bel. De looptijd van het uurwerk bedraagt meerdere maanden. Decoratieve Ferdinand Berthoud compensatie slinger met temperatuur aanduiding en equatie van de tijd. De slinger heeft een mesophanging.  De uitvinding van de equatietijd berekening dateert al uit 1754. De ‘L’Académie des Sciences’ in Frankrijk erkent dan Ferdinand Berthoud ‘s constructie van een ‘pendule à équation’. Deze regulateur is een mechanisch en esthetisch meesterwerk die tijdsvariabelen – tijd, datum, maand, dierenriem, equatie – zo mechanisch verwerkt waardoor ze zichtbaar worden op deze regulateur.
