A very good Louis XVI gilt bronze cartel clock, signed on the white enamel dial and backplate Hubert à Paris. Timepiece only, with pull quarter repeat on two bells Paris, date circa 1765 Height 52 cm. The maker was Pierre Hubert, Parisian clockmaker who presented his chef d’oeuvre or trial-piece in 1769.
