Nr. 106. A Louis XVI gilt bronze Cleopatra mantle clock, Thiout a Paris, circa 1780.
A very fine mantle clock of eight day duration, signed on the white enamel dial Thiout a Paris, housed in a beautiful case representing Cleopatra looking in a mirror and holding a snake in her hand. The dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and a very fine pair of pierced gilt brass hands for the hours and minutes. The movement with anchor escapement, silk thread suspension, striking on the hour and half hour, with outside count wheel. Height 35 cm, width 29 cm, depth 11,50 cm. Nr. 106. Een Louis XVI vergulde Cleopatra pendule, Thiout a Paris, circa 1780.
Zeer mooie pendule met acht daags uurwerk, gesigneerd op de witte email wijzerplaat Thiout a Paris. Mooie voorstelling van Cleopatra die in een spiegel kijkt en een slang in de hand houdt. Wijzerplaat met Romeinse en Arabische cijfers en een paar mooi opengezaagde wijzers. Uurwerk met ankergang, slinger met draadophanging, sluitschijf slagwerk van de uren en het half uur. Hoogte 35 cm, breedte 29 cm, diepte 11,50 cm.
