Nr. 392. A gothic iron clock with foliot, South Germany, ca. 1580.
A 16th Century clock with polychrome painted dial, the holy virgin Mother with child and coat of arms. A traditions icon in that period. Weight driven movement, verge escapement and foliot, consisting of a pivoted beam with weights (which might be adjustable) at either end. Hour hand. HWD ca 53x18x18 cm. Prijs opm aanvraag.
