painted dial with Roman numerals and flower spandrels, landscape in the arch and brass hands, brass posted movement with verge escapement and short pendulum, countwheel half hour striking and alarm on a bell, stained oak break arch case surmounted by urn finials, glazed door flanked by ebonized pilasters, shaped tail with ebonized pierced 'Turkish Knot'.
