A very fine and massive Restauration carved mahogany and marble guéridon with lime and linden wood carcass, the circular moulded scagliola-painted bleu turquin top above a plain frieze above four robust curved supports headed by acanthus wrapped scrolls and terminating with similar scrolled ornamentation, on a concave sided plinth on four flat rectangular pad feet
Paris, date circa 1825-30
Height 79 cm, diameter of table 175 cm, diameter of marble top 182 cm.
