Zeer mooie, kleine Louis Seize cartelklok, ca. 1770, gesigneerd Lochon A Paris. De klok heeft een 8 daags uurwerk met een bijzonder geveerde pull-repeater en petit sonnerie slagwerk op twee bellen. Literatuur: Dergelijke cartel klokken zijn afgebeeld op pagina's 190/194 van de Encyclopédie de La Pendule Francaise, Pierre Kjelberg. De maker, Lochon, Germain-Mathurin, werd geboren in Parijs in 1727. Leerlingklokkenmaker rond 1741-42 wordt vermeld in de Dictionnaire des Horlogers Français, Tardy.

Very nice, small Louis XVI Cartel Clock, ca 1770, signed Lochon A Paris. The clock has an 8 day movement with a special spring-loaded pull repeater and petit sonnerie striking on two bells. Literature: Such cartel clocks are shown on pages 190/194 of the Encyclopedia de la Pendule  Française, Pierre Kjelberg. The creator, Lochon, Germain-Mathurin, was born in Paris in 1727. Pupil Clockmaker is listed in the Dictionnaire des Horlogers Français, Tardy. Around 1741-42
