An early 19th century French patinated and gilt bronze figural mantel clock. The gilding is still in an excelent condition. The 4 inch enamel clock dial with finely cast gilt bezel is set into a shouldered block over a lion mask fountain, the gilt figures of a girl with a broken ewer and cupid looking on, standing on a variegated green marble base and gilt bun feet, the twin barrel movement with external countwheel strike on a bell, silk suspension and anchor escapement. 36cm (14.25in) high.
