A very fine pair of Louis XVI gilt bronze and white marble dishes with cover, decorated with ribbon tied swags supported on a tripod athénienne with Satyr mask heads with long spiralled horns wrapped along the circular rim, the spiralled central shaft with ring connecting three monopodiae supports with cloven feet, supported on an concave shaped triangular white marble base, Paris, circa 1780.
