Nr. 229. Musical alarm carriage clock, four airs made by Charles Oudin, Paris circa 1860-70. In the bottom of this clock is a music work with 4 melodies.
The alarm function start the music cylinder to play. Most unusual: a music wake up call by an Oudin carriage clock. The winding of the music work is located in the bottom. All other functions on the back. Music work is restored and sounding fine, clear recognisable musical lines. Eight day movement and striking a bell the hours and half hour. Repeat.
On the back engravings and signature Chles Oudin Palais Royal 52.
The white enamel dial is signed Ch. Oudin, Hger de la marine, Médailles & Brevets de 180G à 18GI. In the front the title of the four melodies are engraved.

Nr. 229. Reisklok met speelwerk 4 melodieën, wekker en slagwerk, Ch. Oudin, Paris circa 1860-70 Onderin de klok zit een cilinder speelwerk met vier melodieën.
De wekker activeert het speelwerk. Het is uiterst zeldzaam dat een reisklok wekt met een cilinderspeelwerk. Opwinding van het speelwerk zit op de bodem. Alle ander functies aan de achterkant. Achtdaags uurwerk met slagwerk op een bel van de uren en half uur. Repetitie. Het speelwerk is gerestaureerd en laat een duidelijk melodielijn horen.
Op de achterkant gravering met de signering Chles Oudin Palais Royal 52. Witte email wijzerplaat met de vermeldingen Ch. Oudin, Hger de la marine, Médailles & Brevets de 180G à 18GI. Stevens staand de vier melodieën voorop gegraveerd.
