No. 29. Schwarzwalder klokkenmannetje, bewegend hoofd, ‘Uhren-Männchen’, c. 1900.
Polychroom beschilderde papier maché sculptuur. Klokkenmannetje draagt een uurwerk voor de borst en klokkenmakers attributen.
Het hoofd van het klokkenmannetje beweegt van links naar rechts en omgekeerd met de bewegingen van de slinger. Beschildering en uurwerk in zeer goed staat.
Uurwerk en mechaniek zijn goed werkend.
Het klokkenmannetje is gemaakt circa 1900 door de ‘Hamburg American Clock Company’ die gevestigd was in het Zwarte Woud. Hoogte 36 cm Houten basis Ø 12 cm.

Polychrome painted paper mache sculpture. The figure wears a clock on his chest and clock makers attributes.
The head moves from left to right and vice versa with the movements of the pendulum. Painting and clock in very good condition.
Clock and automaton are good functioning.
Clock was made circa 1900 by the ‘ Hamburg American Clock Company’ which was located in the Black Forest. Height 36 cm, wooden base diameter 12 cm.
