Marcel Toebosch Marcel Toebosch has been active in the antique world since 1974, specializing in antique clocks, barometers and musical boxes. After working successfully as a wholesaler in antiques for 15 years, he began partnership in 1989 with F. van Dreven, well known in the clocks world. In 2000 Marcel Toebosch independently began his specialized antiques store in the prestigious location Nieuwe Spiegelstraat 33 (located in the world famous Spiegelkwartier in Amsterdam, which became widely known because of the many antique businesses with diverse specialties). His antique gallery consists of 3 beautiful showrooms where you can always find 200 clocks of the highest quality. His collection is dominated by antique clocks, barometers and musical boxes but at the same time he has very exclusive art and antiques with the accent on furniture of Dutch, English and French origin from the 17th, 18th and 19th century. Marcel Toebosch also has a large selection of Louis XV, Empire and Charles X chandeliers and related antiques in the largest sense of the word. Marcel Toebosch has taken part in Antique fairs in the United States., Germany and the Netherlands, for 10 years. He is a member of the VNAG (Society of Dutch Antique Dealers), an organization for guarantee and protection of collectors. Marcel Toebosch also is essayer at the most important Dutch antique fairs such as the Art and Antique Fairs (Kunst- en Antiek Beurs) in 's-Hertogenbosch and the Pan-Amsterdam. |
