Engelse skeleton Lyre klok, Louis XVI circa 1780. An English skeleton clock, Lyre shaped Louis XVI mantel clock, circa 1780. Eight day movement. The base of gray and white marble, gilt ornament. The frame in the shape of a lyre with a ormolu ornament to the top. Open shaped white enamel dial, ormolu hands. Also open clockwork, star shaped with fusee and chain. The pendulum , knife edge suspended, in the form of a ring around the dial. The marble base with ormolu feet. Price on request. |
