Mathieu de Tombay (1768 - 1852) worked during the revolution in The Netherlands and Hamburg, was a famous sculpture maker for castles and churches, also in the Liege region, he was favourited as a prince Bishop artist at 1771. 

One of the figures is signed 1837, circa 1837.
