Gold, diamond and plique a jour brooch in the form of a classical vase, signed L. Gautrait,ca. 1900-1905. After 1900 Léopold Gautrait abandoned Art Nouveau, the jewels are noticeable Neo-Classical in style, showing the influence of French ormolu furniture mounts of the second half of the 18th century with garlands and ribbons.
