A French Charles X thuja mantel clock with fine ormolu mounts by Devienne A Paris, circa 1825. silvered dial with Roman numerals signed Devienne A Paris and Breguet hands, 8-day movement with anchor escapement and half hour countwheel striking on a bell, arched Thuja case lined with ormolu acanthus rim, the front with a mount depicting Amor and Psyche, the whole raised on bun feet.
