An attractive English Japanned bracket clock by Conyers Dunlop london, circa 1750. brass arched dial with silvered chapter ring with Roamn numerals, date aperture and subsidaries for strike/silent and rise/fall with the signature in between. 8-day fusee movement with verge escapement and rack hour striking on a bell with trip repeat. The bell top case surmounted by a handle throughout adorned with beautiful japanning of red and gold decorations on a green ground, the whole raised on brass bracket feet. height 52 cm (incl. handle) width 28,5 cm depth 19,5 cm Price: Price on request. |
