A very rare set of four Louis XIV carved gilt tabourets, each with a square padded seat covered in close nailed blue and gold silk velvet on square tapering panelled legs headed by gadrooned collars and ornamented with trailing buds and beads, joined by an H-shaped stretcher on square feet Paris, date circa 1710 Height 44 cm, 48 cm. square each.
