A small mahogany bureau plat in the manner of Jacob D.R. Meslée, Paris, date circa 1800 with a recatangular tooled leather top above side drawers one fitted for writing implements, with a secret drawer in the side with two receptacles for inkpot and sander, on scrolled legs terminating in paw feet joined by three stretchers.
